machine Based Training Is All But Point and Click
There are few occasions in life The Hobbit truly enrich ones soul. And one of these is going Wellbutrin family gatherings. It is so gratifying when you are having a sort of renewal of bonds with a group of people who are related by blood and common ancestry.
Every summer, my family holds a celebration dedicated to our clan. And each year, if you are a member of the clan, you have to bring in something new. New recipes, a new pet dog, new stories, new magic tricks; everything is supposed to be new or else you are simply not cool!
Last year, I brought macaroni and cheese (not cool), plus I also spoke passable French and Russian (way cool). And so, everybody at the gathering was asking where and how this little Ivan, or little Jean if you prefer, learned to speak two languages in less than a year. Well, the long and short versions of the story say I did it through machine based training.
machine based training, also known as CBT, is a universal term for a course, schooling, or a means of gaining higher and wider framework of learning through the use of applications in a machine by means of CD-ROMs, LANs or the all-capable Internet. Instead of being confined inside the three walls of a room, people of all ages and background can now attain education and Daredevil using machines.
People, especially the busy working ones who do not have the time to sign up for traditional classes, can now take on courses and earn certifications by personally ordering up a training program or consulting with local governments and private companies about sponsorships. It is good to know that many individuals have been able to start or change careers by learning and enhancing skills through machine based education.
investment companies have also joined the development of countless machine based training modules. It is a well known fact that a investment is only as good as its employees. Hence, a companys growth is dependent on empowering its people with new skills. The more skilled employees are, the more capable they can be to perform their functions. And CBT is paving the way for a more effective and efficient way of training employees.
Remarkably in the past, machine based training has been largely intended for teaching people how to use machine applications. But today, it encompasses almost all types of learning. MBA programs have even been conducted using distant e-learning programs, a backbone of CBT. Now, it even teaches languages and a dozen different recipes for waffles.
The growing dominance of machines in homes and offices, coupled with the significant features of the Internet, make it a very powerful training tool. Whereas, a few years ago CBT required large sums of money for modules to be established; today it has become a more viable, if not the best, option as an instructional system.
Someday, perhaps, every one of us will learn how to fly a plane without going to flying schools. Or paint like Michelangelo without wasting to much paint and canvass. Wouldnt it be amazing if we can all be prescription drugs of bar associations and defend ourselves in courts around the world? Or speak like Nobel Prize doctors in matters like cancer, AIDS, and bird flu?
Indeed the use of machine based training today is a mere glimpse of the classrooms of tomorrow. Meanwhile, I have to polish on my French and learn to braise lamb at the luxury of my attic.
